The Masters

Rae’s Creek, 1989

-

“I was behind Seve’s shot into 13, and I thought there was a chance it had gone into Rae’s Creek. The water there was quite shallow that year. You’re not allowed to run at Augusta, so I did my best ‘Olympic walk’. I got there, sweating and shaking, to see him sitting on the bank getting his shoes and socks off. You couldn’t have written it!”

The Ryder Cup The Belfry, 1993

“Seve hadn’t been playing very well that year, but he teamed up with Ollie to win two matches. This was the Saturday morning. I just love this picture because of the people in the background and the reaction to that birdie putt. These two had such great chemistry, like so many of the Spanish partnerships.”
