A more flashy appearance with graphics around the perimeter. The Cobra logo on the centre of the crown and the shorter white grooves on the face help position the ball centrally at address.

It wasn’t as explosive as the Titleist, but it still felt fast and had a pleasing dense sensation at impact. Felt a little harsher on off-centre hits, but this could have been down to worse strikes.

The slightly lower flight with less spin is arguably better suited to shots off the tee, but it’s still a good option on approaches. Lower spin helped produce marginally longer carries.

It’s not adjustable, but the Baffler sole rails certainly seem to help extract the ball more cleanly from poor lies. They also assist when you catch the ground a fraction too early.

A hybrid that is easy to hit from different lies will be music to everyone’s ears. It also comes in a One Length option and both include performance-tracking Cobra Connect for free.
