This year’s Spider EX is big on aim and alignment, with lots to like about how it looks, too. The three dots on the top, christened True Path, make it very easy to set the putter squarely behind the ball.

The new Pure Roll face insert is Taylormade’s first multi-material creation. It comprises eight aluminium beans that work independently to produce early, consistent roll and enhanced feel.

The Spider EX comes in three colours: platinum white, ghost white or navy and white. Expect to hear plenty about this model in 2021 both on tour and in the hands of your playing partners... and maybe even yours?
