Do I really need to wear a glove for golf?

Barrow, GM Forum

Many golfers wear a glove because it’s what the tour pros do, although there are exceptions, Victor Perez being one. But when I hit a shot without one, it feels alien and like I have no control. Try a range session with and without a glove to check, but my suspicion would be

that the grip and feel you get with a glove will be much better than without!

Would going up to a 12˚ driver increase forgiveness?

Mark_aged_42, GM Forum

The higher the loft on a club, the more difficult it is to tilt the spin axis (curve the ball), but the difference between a 10˚ and a 12˚ driver is fairly minimal. A 12˚ driver will likely spin more and fly higher, so it would be affected more by crosswinds. My advice would be to go for a fitting and check if a 12˚ driver produces optimal launch, spin and distance for you.
