Ben Crenshaw (Masters), Fuzzy Zoeller (US Open), Seve Ballestero­s (Open) and Lee Trevino (USPGA) were the four male Major winners during the year. Seve’s victory was particular­ly memorable for his celebratio­n on the 18th hole at St Andrews.
