BALL AT REST ESSENTIALS

If a ball comes to rest against a person and they then move (causing the ball to also move), Rule 9 applies. The ball is simply replaced on its original spot without penalty. Although not required, it is recommended to mark the position of the ball (if possible) before the person moves.
