Where to go
The town of Bury St Edmunds offers a lively eating-out scene. Pea Porridge on Cannon Street is an independent restaurant with a strong Mediterranean theme that can proudly boast a Michelin Star. The Old Cannon Brewery on the same street is an excellent pub where the on-site brewery creates 11 flagship brews, while the Greene King Brewery has its own ‘beer cafe’.
