Do wet-weather gloves really work? Rapporman, GM Forum

The wet-weather gloves I’ve tested, Footjoy’s Raingrip in particular, undoubtedly enhance your grip when your clubs are wet. The wetter they get, the more grip you gain. A side effect, though, is that your hands also get a lot colder, which can be uncomfortable in the winter. The thicker feel, and the fact you have gloves on both hands, takes some getting used to, so it’s worth practising with them before you play to get accustomed to it.
