How does it give you the edge?

-

The first thing to say is that this is a super-comfortable and lightweight walking shoe. It’s 20 per cent lighter than the Adidas Tour360 XT and you really notice that reduced weight immediately.

But Adidas hasn’t stripped out any underfoot cushioning to achieve this weight reduction at the expense of comfort. If anything, this has been enhanced via the mix of Lightstrike EVA foam and Boost under the heel.

This provides immediate softness and a memory foam sensation over time to help keep a spring in your step and reduce foot fatigue towards the end of the round.

This shoe looks the part, feels fantastic and fits perfectly – snug without pinching. The soft tongue tops off a very pleasant sensation when you tie the laces or fasten the Boa system (£160).

You feel connected to the ground thanks to a low-profile design – the outsole really gets into the turf as you swing, helping you to generate power with control.

The heel area locks your foot in place so there’s no unwanted movement inside the shoe. All in all, the Adidas ZG21 is a sporty, comfy and lightweight golf shoe that offers great all-round performance.
