Thomas Bjorn

Denmark’s Thomas Bjorn won 22 times as a pro and came agonisingly close to an elusive Major at the 2003 Open. He enjoyed plenty of success in the Ryder Cup, winning three times as a player and once as captain in 2018.

Anna Nordqvist

Since turning pro in 2008, Nordqvist has proved she is a big-time player. The Swede won her first tournament at the 2009 LPGA Championship and racked up further Major titles at the 2017 Evian Championship and 2021 AIG Women’s Open.

Henrik Stenson

Many tried and failed before Henrik Stenson became Sweden’s first male Major Champion in 2016. His Open Championship triumph at Troon is the highlight of a stellar career that includes a World Golf Championship and Players Championship.

Annika Sorenstam

Many would argue the best female golfer in the history of the game, Sweden’s Annika Sorenstam has the most wins of all time and tops the LPGA’S career money list.

Suzann Pettersen

In a career spanning almost two decades, Suzann Pettersen won 22 times all over the world. The Norwegian retired in style at the dramatic conclusion of the 2019 Solheim Cup after clinching victory for Europe with the final putt of the tournament (pictured).
