Stay Cambridge House, Cromer
This family run Victorian guest house situated on the sea front, just off the Cromer town centre, is the ideal place to base yourself. It overlooks the beach and pier and has steps to the promenade opposite the front door if you want to try some crabbing. It won’t cost the earth, so you can spend more on the golf, but it does have private parking and serves an excellent full English breakfast.
Where to go
The Royal Family’s country retreat at Sandringham is one of the most famous historic houses in Norfolk. With three beautifully restored century-old stations, the North Norfolk Railway runs from Sheringham to Holt, providing scenic views all the way. Or try the salt marshes that run along the coast between Holme and Salthouse.
