Royal Cromer

-

Royal Cromer is a fairly undulating coastal layout that feels and plays closer to an inland links, with hints of parkland from the various wooded areas. Only the par-4 6th hole gets close to the sea – a welcome visual treat after a tricky start. It’s quirky in places but enjoyable from start to finish, especially with its three gettable par 5s (two of which come at 10 and 11). The tee shot on 15 is a potential cardwrecker, while the semi-blind tee shot on the next could catch out first-time visitors (it isn’t a driver!).

Par 72, 6,290 yards
