Taylormade Spider GT
Taylormade is offering golfers the choice of four new multi-material Spider GT putters in 2022, all featuring new levels of forgiveness and fresh aesthetics.
The Spider GT (top left) boasts a modern wing design with extreme perimeter weighting. These steel side weights combine with a 6061 aluminium top plate – which eliminates excess weight in the middle of the putter – for increased offcentre stability and better distance control.
The Spider GT Notchback is more classically shaped and has tungsten stability bars totalling 172g that wrap around the side and back of the putter for forgiveness. The Spider GT Rollback has an 80g tungsten stability bar, a raised crown and tri-sole to help align and set the putter squarely.
Finally there’s the Spider GT Splitback, an evolution of the Spider SR, with urethane foam positioned along the sole for improved feel and weight distribution. The Spider GT putters go on sale on March 4, with an RRP of £279 (Spider GT £329).
