Rounds of golf played in Great Britain on the rise

Research undertaken by Sports Marketing Surveys (SMS) has found 12 per cent more rounds were played in Great Britain in 2021 than 2020, rising for the fourth consecutiv­e year.

Survey reveals 60% of golf clubs now have a waiting list

As participat­ion numbers have risen, so too has the demand to join golf clubs. A Hillier Hopkins LLP survey has revealed 60% of clubs now have a waiting list, up from 22% in 2019.
