BALL INTERFERING ESSENTIALS

If another player’s ball might interfere with their play, a player may require the other player to mark the spot of the ball and lift it. The lifted ball must not be cleaned (except when it is lifted from the green). A player is usually entitled to the lie they had before alteration.
