Fraserburgh (Corbiehill)

GF Round: from £20 Established in 1777, Fraserburgh Golf Club is the seventh oldest club in the world. The Corbiehill championship course is more recent than that, although it does date back to 1922 when James Braid carried out a redesign. It’s a fabulous links set alongside towering dunes with undulating fairways, changes in elevation and some fabulous views. It’s a wild and rugged place on a windy day, but when the sun shines, it’s a glorious setting for golf.

GM verdict Corbiehill is an excellent test of links golf set alongside and through some superb duneland.
