Mountain Ash

Mountain Ash is perched atop Cefnpennar Mountain near Aberdare in south Wales. It begins with a tricky par 4, then a number of scoring chances before you start the ascent on the 5th. Once on top, you’ll enjoy a series of hugely enjoyable holes. There are tremendous views across to the Brecon Beacons before a precipitous descent from the tee on 18, a par 5 where the state of your card will dictate if you’re willing to really open your shoulders. GM verdict Twelve highly entertaining holes up on the higher ground with some breathtaking views.
