Jeev Milkha Singh

-

India’s Jeev Milkha Singh enjoyed success in Asia when he turned pro in 1993, but it wasn’t until 2006 that he broke through on the European Tour, winning four times, including the 2012 Scottish Open. In 2007 he became the first Indian to play in The Masters.

Singh turns heads not only with his golfing prowess but also his quirky action. He stands upright, takes the club away to a hugely open position at the top, pauses, then loops it back closer to on plane before starting the downswing. He then dips slightly, looking somewhat constricted through the ball.

It may not look like a top pro’s swing but it won him almost €7million in Europe.
