What club should I use around the greens?

Obviously it depends on the lie and pin position. However, my experience of teaching better players is that they like to get the ball rolling on the green as soon as possible. Take a few different clubs to your chipping green, not just your sand wedge, and mark out some landing zones, as I’ve done here with a few alignment sticks. Switch between clubs and observe how far the ball rolls out from each zone. This will get you thinking about where to land the ball and how much roll you need.
