Does an electric trolley really make life easier? Stevenk, GM Forum
Having made the switch from carrying to electric, I would say on the whole it does. You generally feel fresher towards the end of a round and you can carry more things with you, plus some even display GPS distances that you can quickly glance at before a shot. I tend to carry in the winter when the mud that accumulates on the wheels becomes a faff, and you need to be disciplined with charging the battery, but the pros outweigh the cons.

Good question, Frank. In order to test and review as many products as we can, we’ve enlisted more outside resource and adopted a ‘category leaders’ approach, whereby qualified individuals become mini experts in their field. This widens the breadth of coverage and ensures our reviews and buyers’ guides remain insightful and thorough – the days when Neil and myself tested everything are long gone I’m afraid!
