Titleist TSR

-

Titleist has expanded its TSR metalwood range with the addition of TSR1 models, as well as TSR2 and TSR3 hybrids. Engineered for players with driver swing speeds less than 90mph, the TSR1 range promotes optimal launch conditions through an ultralightweight design, enhanced aerodynamics and strategically placed CG for effortless speed, distance and high launch without sacrificing forgiveness, looks or feel. The TSR1 driver (£529) is roughly 40g lighter than the TSR2 driver, is partly grey in certain areas for differentiation and features the Multi-plateau variable face thickness pattern found in other TSR drivers to assist in speed retention from off-centre hits. The TSR1 fairway (£289) is the lightest and highestlaunching in the range and also has the largest footprint. This is also true of the TSR1 hybrid (£259), which also boasts a deeper CG placement for forgiveness and measures half-an-inch longer than the previous TSI1 to create more speed and launch.

The new TSR2 hybrid (£259) is a classic-shaped model with a marginally longer blade length, creating more face flex and faster ball speeds as a result. The CG is pushed lower and deeper than prior generations for increased launch and improved stopping power. A redesigned sole facilitates better turf interaction for improved versatility.

The TSR3 hybrid (£259) is aimed at the better player, producing less spin and a more penetrating trajectory. A smaller head than the other two models will please the eye of the lower handicapper, while the Surefit track system allows players to customise their ball flight for ultimate control.
