Dustin Johnson and Hudson Swafford hit it 430 at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. If you want to add yards, The Plantation Course at Kapalua is the place to be. The six longest drives of 2018 were all recorded there and it has yielded more 400-yard-plus drives than any other course in PGA Tour history; 430 yards is, though, way short of the longest drive ever officially recorded on the PGA Tour – Davis Love III’s 476-yarder at the 2004 Mercedes Championship. We say ‘officially’ because Tiger’s 498-yard effort at the 2002 Mercedes was not accepted into the record books and DJ’s 489-yarder at the 2018 WGC-Dell Match Play doesn’t qualify as matchplay events don’t count towards official records.
