PEGGY KIRK BELL Life­time Achieve­ment

Suc­cess­ful am­a­teur ca­reer in­cluded win­ning 1949 Title­hold­ers Cham­pi­onship and par­tic­i­pa­tion on a win­ning 1950 Cur­tis Cup team. Be­came a char­ter mem­ber of the LPGA in 1950.

RETIEF GOOSEN Male Com­peti­tor

33 wins in­clud­ing two US Opens in 2001 and 2004. Led the Eu­ro­pean Tour Or­der of Merit in 2001 and 2002. Eu­ro­pean Tour POTY in 2001. Played in six con­sec­u­tive Pres­i­dents Cups.

BILLY PAYNE Life­time Achieve­ment

For­mer Au­gusta chair­man over­saw in­tro­duc­tion of fe­male mem­bers and cre­ated the Drive, Chip & Putt Na­tional Cham­pi­onship. Helped with golf’s re­turn to Olympics in 2016.

JAN STEPHEN­SON Fe­male Com­peti­tor

Named LPGA Rookie of the Year in her de­but sea­son in 1974 and went on to record 20 vic­to­ries in­clud­ing 16 LPGA Tour ti­tles and three ma­jors. Helped found the Women’s Se­nior Golf Tour.

DEN­NIS WAL­TERS Life­time Achieve­ment

Elite golfer who was paral­ysed from the waist down aged 24 fol­low­ing a golf buggy ac­ci­dent. Has ded­i­cated his ca­reer to shar­ing life lessons and in­spir­ing fans and dis­abled golfers.
