THE YOUNGEST & THE OLDEST
The average age of the PGA Tour winner is 32. But there are exceptions...
SPIETH STEALS THE SHOW
Four players aged under 20 have won on the PGA Tour but only one of them since 1968 – Jordan Spieth (right) who won the 2013 John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run, aged 19 years, 11 months and 17 days. Spieth had to hole a bunker shot on the 72nd hole to earn a spot in a play-off alongside Zach Johnson and Canada’s David Hearn, a play-off he went on to win on the fifth extra hole.
THE ART OF VICTORY
The oldest winner on the PGA Tour post-1968 was Art Wall, winner of the 1975 Westchester Classic at 51 years, seven months and 10 days. The oldest winner in recent years has been Davis Love who, at 51 years and four months, captured his 21st Tour win at the 2015 Wyndham Championship.
