Ashlyn Reed’s journey through grief (Follow Your Good Heart and Live Life to the Full, November 2017) really struck a chord, as I lost my son in 2009. Like her, I realised there’s no magic remedy for grief, but what’s important is having a support network. We set up a charity – The Chris Salmon Foundation – to give us something positive to focus on.
