Grand Marnier Butter
To serve with our Christmas pudding this year. For our version of the festive butter, we’re swapping traditional brandy for Grand Marnier, made with Cognac and bitter orange essence.

In a bowl, beat together 125g (4oz) lightly salted butter, softened, and 100g (3½oz) icing sugar until smooth. Stir through the finely grated zest of half an orange and 3tbsp Grand Marnier. Keep at room temperature, if serving within a couple of hours, or cover and chill. Remove from the fridge 2hr before serving.
