The main bedroom, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, looks out on to the garden at the back. Lucie combined blue with Breakfast Room Green and a flash of Charlotte’s Locks (both Farrow & Ball) on one wall, to create a calm, restful setting for a Gustavian wooden bed and chest of drawers, velvet armchairs and a turquoise sofa. A large Art Deco mirror hangs above the headboard. ‘It’s all about how colours sit together,’ says Lucie. ‘I love experimenting, and it’s easy to paint over them if the combination doesn’t work.’
