For 10 years, GH has partnered with Walk the Walk to help beat breast cancer. This year, the Moonwalk London’s theme is ‘disco inferno’ – and it’s time to get your groove on…

There’s something very empowering about walking through the centre of London in your bra. With 15,000 women (and some men!), you’re singing and smiling as you stride through the streets, tired in body but united in spirit; driven by your shared enthusiasm and purpose. This is the Moonwalk London – and there’s nothing else quite like it. So, why not join the party?
On Saturday 11 May, 2019,
there will be dancing in the streets as Good Housekeeping puts its best foot forward once again at the 22nd Moonwalk London. The party starts on Clapham Common and takes a circular route through London, and with the options of the 15.1 mile Half Moon or the 26.2 mile Full Moon, there’s a challenge to suit everyone.
The Moonwalk London’s theme for 2019 is ‘Disco Inferno’, so grab your glowsticks, throw on some flares and boogie on down to London’s biggest disco – all while raising money and awareness for breast cancer. Walk, baby, walk! And if you’re not anywhere near London, never fear…
The Moonwalk Scotland is on Saturday 8 June, 2019,
starting in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh – save the date for your chance to raise money,
raise awareness, get fit and, of course, have a lot of fun along the way!
Making history.
To date, Walk The Walk has raised almost £127m. That money has gone towards helping to fund vital research into breast cancer, as well as improving the lives of those who are battling cancer right now. But we still have a long way to go. So, will you be joining Team GH next year?
Entries are now open for the Moonwalk London. If you want to take part but you’d rather not walk, you can also sign up to be one of the 2,000 vital volunteers on the night. There are more than 20 different roles available, from handing out bottles of water to presenting medals and, of course, giving walkers that much-needed motivation to keep going.
