The NHS and Public Health England have launched a campaign, urging people who’ve had a cough for more than three weeks to see their doctors. It could be a sign of lung cancer, and early detection and treatment can dramatically improve long-term outcomes. Currently, only three in 10 are diagnosed before it’s spread widely.
