SEE HOLLAND AND THE FLORIADE EXPO IN SPRING

Enjoy the once-in-a-decade floral show and the Netherlands in bloom with the popular TV gardener

- With Charlie Dimmock

On this seven-day river cruise, you will see the best of the Netherlands in bloom as you enjoy a series of spring displays from Amsterdam to Kampen. The highlight of your trip will be a day exploring the Floriade Expo, one of the world’s great floral events, which only takes place once every 10 years.

Next year’s Floriade, which will be held in Almere, on the outskirts of Amsterdam, will be a colourful celebration of trees, shrubs, perennials, creepers and bulbs.

During this holiday, you’ll also have the chance to enjoy optional excursions to Het Loo Palace, which was built in 1686 for William III; stroll around the themed gardens at De Kruidhof, the largest botanical garden in the Netherlands; and see how Dutch biscuits, such as gevulde koek and speculaas, are made.

You’ll also meet TV gardening favourite Charlie Dimmock, who is the ideal guest on this trip for horticultural enthusiasts.
