WReasons to book

e are delighted to announce new dates for this walking tour. The Isles of Scilly are a subtropical archipelago of 140 tiny white-sand islands and are a short ferry ride from the coast of Cornwall, yet feel a million miles away. Five of the islands are inhabited by 2,200 people – most of whom live on the largest island, St Mary’s, where you’ll be based.

Autumn is one of the best times of year to see migrating wildlife and you will be joined by Will Wagstaff, who has been guiding walking tours of the islands for more than 25 years.

You’ll visit Tresco Abbey Garden, the beaches of St Martin’s and the best of Bryher, plus you’ll enjoy a bird boat tour.

EXPLORE ST MARY’S

There are more than 30 miles of walking and cycling trails on St Mary’s, but just nine miles of road. You’ll explore Hugh Town, the island’s main settlement.

MEET WILL WAGSTAFF

As well as knowing all there is to know about the wildlife, Will can educate you about other aspects of island life.

WONDERFUL WILDLIFE

Many of the species on the Isles of Scilly can’t be seen anywhere else in the UK. There are more than 450 species of seabirds, waders and migrants.
