As a royal correspondent for 14 years, Jennie Bond is an expert on the Royal Family. She made a documentary for Channel 5 called Jennie Bond’s Royals, and is the author of several books on the subject.
The Cotswolds are a timeless English destination – home to gorgeous gardens and classic honeystone houses. So it’s no wonder that keen gardener Prince Charles chose it as the location for his country retreat, the magical Highgrove House.
Since buying the property in 1980, HRH has redeveloped the garden, with the house now surrounded by wisteria, honeysuckle, jasmine and thyme, as well as creating a wildflower meadow of endangered native plants.
During your visit to the gardens, you’ll be joined by Jennie Bond, who’ll share insights about the Royal Family and the history of this magnificent country manor.
You’ll also tour Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, now The Queen’s permanent residence. Other highlights include Hampton Court Palace, Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London.
