Calcot’s jumble of yellow limestone buildings, some dating from as far back as the 1300s, leaves you in no doubt that you’re in the heart of the Cotswolds. Upstairs, the treatment rooms and relaxation suite feel private and cosy; from Elemis to Aromatherapy Associates, the most luxurious spa brands are here. Feeling energetic? There are indoor and outdoor pools and gyms, plus exercise classes, so there’s no need to skip your workout.
