HOROSCOPES

- BY PETER WATSON

LEO 24 Jul – 23 Aug

In a bid to do something innovative, you might invite cries of disapproval from loved ones or friends. And with Uranus starting to move backwards before it joins forces with Venus, you may be in two minds as to whether you’re entitled to pamper yourself and somebody special. You deserve the opportunity to enjoy yourself so don’t give the matter a second thought. Something a little risqué would be perfect right now.

VIRGO 24 Aug – 23 Sept

It can be hard to express your deepest feelings about a situation that has caused doubt or concern. With Mercury entering your sign, you might decide you can no longer keep any secrets or avoid the mention of something or someone that needs to be disempowered. One or two careful conversations should help hugely.

LIBRA 24 Sept – 23 Oct

As you feel inclined to show off your generous streak, you might be in danger of going too far. So you should remind yourself that those people whose opinions really count for something like and admire you for who you are, not for your worldly goods and how willing you are to share them around.

SCORPIO 24 Oct – 22 Nov

Rather than risk causing trouble, you might be tempted to keep certain facts from colleagues or loved ones. But you risk causing offence if those involved discover what’s going on. And conflict between Mercury and Mars could turn a minor incident into a major battle. Why not tell the truth from the outset?

SAGITTARIUS 23 Nov – 21 Dec

You have held back from telling business associates where you think they’re going wrong. But rather than be afraid of offending them, ask yourself whether you have a responsibility to them to highlight their shortcomings. Almost certainly they can take such comments from you. And they need them.

CAPRICORN 22 Dec – 20 Jan

You might agree to someone else’s plans involving your home or a joint endeavour. But you’ll be tempted to inject your own bit of magic into it. And that’s fine provided you’re not doing anything irresponsible, risky or extravagant. Those involved need to know they’re right to trust you now and in the future.

AQUARIUS 21 Jan – 19 Feb

Much as you might enjoy your time spent alone with somebody very special, you also need to be with others who are an important part of your world. A Sun-saturn tie-up urges you to use some kind of gathering as a means of introducing to one another people from many different areas of your life.

PISCES 20 Feb – 20 Mar

Finances need not be as complicated as they have been. So try to persuade the others involved that you can, between you, reorganise a particular deal or arrangement so that nobody is left wondering what’s going on. Certain individuals are growing tired of smoke and mirrors and something has to change.

ARIES 21 Mar – 20 Apr

Instead of putting on a brave face and doing more work than you can comfortably manage, tell those involved that you’re not a machine. You might be afraid that others will lose respect for you unless you cooperate. Trust yourself and those involved to handle the situation in an intelligent and considerate way.

TAURUS 21 Apr – 21 May

Although you may smile to yourself as you reflect on some dark and dreary thoughts, don’t take matters too seriously. Instead let Mercury’s positive connection with Uranus persuade you to go in for something exciting and distracting. Don’t you deserve a treat after some rather thought-provoking times?

GEMINI 22 May – 21 Jun

Recently you have no doubt promised yourself that you would sort out family or domestic issues. But that simply hasn’t happened. So now you need to either do something about it or stop talking about all that has to be done. People could lose patience with you. Show them a very different side of yourself.

CANCER 22 Jun – 23 Jul

Don’t worry about appearing mean and miserly if you have to take a firm line on a professional or moneyrelated matter. You might prefer to adopt a light touch whenever possible, but must be extremely pragmatic so as to save a particular set-up from going badly wrong. Grit your teeth and get on with it.
