Bradley & Gaga’s ‘ bonding’ session

Grazia that the unlikely scene was in preparation for their upcoming film, a remake of A Star Is Born.

Bradley, who is both starring and making his directorial debut with the film, is said to be insistent that he and Gaga take a ‘method acting’ approach to their leading roles, with the pair spending as much time as possible together in a bid to make their on-screen chemistry believable.

‘It’s a huge project for Bradley and he wants to build momentum,’ said a source close to the production. ‘He’s hanging out with Gaga a lot to get in the zone. He’s been at her house and they’ve been doing bonding exercises, such as having brunch and going shopping. They share a love of vintage cars too, and they’re getting on like a house on fire.’

But while Gaga tweeted last month that she was ‘elated’ to have landed the role – originally tipped for Beyoncé – it seems not everyone is impressed. The source continued, ‘Bradley and Gaga have become so inseparable that his girlfriend [Irina Shayk] is feeling quite left out. It’s causing tension in the relationship – especially because they’re not even scheduled to start shooting until next year – but Bradley is refusing to compromise. Irina already feels that Gaga has become the third person in their relationship, so she’ she’s dreading once filming starts and Bradley and Gaga are spending every day together.’
