For a while now, fashion has embraced androgyny – oversized clothes have been taken to the absolute limit, flats became our shoe of choice, body-con left the building… But the fashion world always swings from one extreme to another and, at the A/W ’16 shows, we spied sexiness creeping back in. Or, in the case of Miu Miu, stomping – in 10-inch stilettos (see page 146).
But sexiness can also be more subtle than that – or so says Victoria Beckham in our exclusive interview. On page 186, she dissects her two decades of style – hits and misses – and her newfound happiness.
And Ashley Graham, the world’s most successful plus-size model, bares all on page 194 to challenge the notion that only skinny = sexy.
We’re really excited to introduce our new columnist Laura Jane Williams on page 108. Author of cult hit book Becoming, and general all-round-speaker-of-what-is-inour-heads when it comes to relationships, sex and dating, we hope you’ll love following her journey.
Finally, turn to page 201 for Grazia’s 10 commandments for modern cool (velvet, vinyl and leopard are up there!). We’ve not gone full body-con yet, but don’t say we didn’t warn you! PS A special thank you to graffiti artist extraordinaire Trouble Andrew (the man behind this season’s hit REAL Gucci bag, below) for our exclusive subscriber cover (below right). For a chance to receive more covers like this, turn to page 269 to subscribe.
