‘ I SWORE IF DONALD TRUMP GOT IN, I ’ D MOVE TO CANADA OR THE UK’

Who is your best friend?

My wife Crystal [above]. She’s the one person on the planet I can talk to about anything and everything. She’s the person I know will never judge me.

What’s something you regret?

One of my biggest mistakes was my fourth album,

I wanted it to be a 30-minute visual album, but it did not go the way that it was supposed to. Libra Scale.

What is your biggest extravagance?

One Father’s Day I went out and bought myself an SLS Mercedes-benz, the one with doors that come up like wings. It’s honestly the most expensive thing, next to my home of course, that I have purchased.

What is your type?

I am a sucker for a woman with some drive and ambition. Confidence is the sexiest thing in the world to me. I don’t discriminate in regards to race, colour or creed, but I’m a booty guy.

When was the last time you were embarrassed?

The last presidential debate between Hillary and Trump. I swore if Donald Trump got in, I’d move to Canada or the UK.

When was the last time you lost your temper?

Someone didn’t pay the attention that they should have paid to my kids. I won’t go into detail but one of my kids wound up pretty sick because of it. I was pretty upset.

What from your past would you like to delete from the internet?

There are pictures where they didn’t catch me at my best angle, but I don’t care about what other people think.

Who owes you an apology?

Nobody and because of it I’m going to live a very long and peaceful life. No one can change how I feel about myself.

Who or what would go into your room 101?

Followers. There isn’t enough individuality in the world right now.

Tell us a secret…

I am a huge fan of Barbra Streisand.

What is the biggest misconception about you?

I think a lot of people think I’m a pushover because I’m a real gentleman. That’s not true, don’t get it twisted!

Who do you miss the most?

Michael Jackson. I was supposed to work with him after his tour, but of course he died before we got to.

Your biggest life lesson to date?

Don’t sweat the small stuff. In the grand scheme of all things, it’s just all kind of small. Ne-yo will be returning to the UK in December, starting with a show in Glasgow on 7 December and finishing in London on 16 December. For tickets and more information, head to robomagiclive.com
