KIM Frows shade on Kendall
In a world where Kim Kardashian changing her hair colour is front page news, it seems the reality star will do anything to court as much publicity as she can for the big reveal. But last week, unfortunately for her half-sister Kendall Jenner, Kim decided that the Tom Ford show at New York Fashion Week – which Kendall was walking – was the perfect place to showcase her new bleached-blonde look, and brought along momager Kris Jenner and the full camera crew for Kardashians to capture the moment for the show. According to insiders, the fallout was harsher than the peroxide on Kim’s hair.
A source says that despite smiles for social media on the day, 21-year-old Kendall was livid with Kim, Kris and the crew for hijacking her high-fashion event. ‘Kendall was furious that Kris and Kim turned up. This was supposed to be Kendall’s moment in the spotlight and is an incredibly important date on the fashion calendar… and she had hoped that she could escape her family members from crashing it. They ended up having a row and a lot of it was caught on camera. Kendall is sick to the back teeth of Kim muscling in on all her golden opportunities. She’s been working incredibly hard to repair the damage that the Pepsi commercial and the T-shirt fiasco has caused to her reputation and doesn’t feel as though Kim and Kris are helping one bit.’
Ah yes, that problematic Pepsi ad. As Grazia reported last month, it’s been a rocky few months for Kendall, as she’s begun to see a backlash from her fans following her role in an ill-judged soft-drink advert that went viral for all the wrong reasons. Just a few weeks later, the model and her sister, Kylie Jenner, were forced to pull a range of T-shirts off their website and apologise, and a photographer of Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. sued for using his image without permission. To round off her woes, her bookings for Fashion Week shows are down this year compared to last year – she clocked up 20 designer shows in 2016, and has only walked 10 so far in 2017, as we went to print.
