FLAKING OUT

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve made and lost plans with friends over the past couple of years ( Have we

hit peak flake?, 2 October). In this crazy-busy world we live in, it’s amazing how some can find the time to write huge text messages – which, ironically, would’ve been easier explained over a coffee. I am currently working abroad, feeling jet-lagged and tired, and have been tempted to cancel plans with friends on my return. But there isn’t anything better than a good ol’ catch-up – it’s just a shame many of us don’t seem to prioritise that any more.
