THE VEUVE CLICQUOT WIDOW SERIES WITH CARINE ROITFELD
The annual instalment in celebration of Madame Clicquot – who was widowed in 1805 and, in a groundbreaking move, went on to run the famous champagne company. This year, the immersive experience is curated by Carine Roitfeld and is her vision of the seven deadly sins. Half of all profits go to amfar, the AIDS research charity, and the ticket price includes a glass of champagne, with bars throughout the London venue. FESTIVAL OF THE FUTURE CITY BATH

LIBERTY LON DON AT 3 4 MAYFAIR
The chic London brasserie has teamed up with Liberty London, with the store creating a limitededition bespoke print for the restaurant, Garden of Beauty, which will be sprinkled around the restaurant’s interior, on cushions and staff uniforms. THE PRINCESS BRIDE
To celebrate 30 years since Rob Reiner’s cult fantasy romance was released, the film will be screened at 300 cinemas nationwide for one night only. A classic fairy tale starring Robin Wright, Billy Crystal and Fred Savage, the story of a grandfather telling an extraordinary tale to his sick grandson still has devoted fans worldwide. And if you can’t make it on the night, they’re re-releasing the DVD with a special edition too. 23 October
THE DEATH OF STALIN
A comedy chronicling the political dramas following the death of Joseph Stalin in 1953 might not sound like your bag, but a quick watch of the trailer and the bare minimum six belly laughs it includes should change your mind. Add to that it’s directed by Armando Iannucci ( The Thick Of
It, Alan Partridge) and you know you’re in safe comedic hands. It’s also star-studded – Rupert Friend, Andrea Riseborough, Steve Buscemi, Paddy Considine and Jason Isaacs provide the lols. Out Friday
