HEDONISM: OUT SELF-CARE: IN

HOW THE E PRIMROS GOT HILL SET Y HEALTH

-

Their ’90s drug-fuelled partner-swapping parties were legendary, but are the Primrose Hill set’s days of debauchery finally over? KATE MOSS

In an era where almost nothing is certain (see: Trump, Brexit and every film star you’ve ever loved becoming problematic), there’s always been one reassuring constant: Kate Moss’s commitment to partying. Until now. A new book, Self-care For The

Real World, espousing the importance of sleep, alcohol-free days and JOMO (the joy of missing out), has just been released with a quote from 44-year-old La Moss: ‘I want to give this book to everyone I know!’ This from the woman who once said, ‘People that don’t know me get Mossed. It means, “I was gonna go home, but then I got led astray...”’

SADIE FROST

Once considered the glue of the set, Sadie Frost (then married to Jude Law) became infamous for alleged ‘partner swapping’ with Danny Goffey and Pearl Lowe. These days, Sadie, 52, is more likely to head to Ibiza for a yoga retreat than a rave. She’s released a well-being book, Nourish, complete with green smoothie recipes and exercise tips, and has said that her Saturday nights are now mostly spent at the cinema.

ROSEMARY FERGUSON

Together with her husband, the artist Jake Chapman, ex-model Rosemary Ferguson, 53, was a notorious party girl. But she has since quit London for the Cotswolds, has qualified as a nutritionist and written a book extolling the virtues of juicing. In November, she launched pop-up restaurant Pure Filth – ‘healthy food for hedonists’ – with new business partner Gizzi Erskine.

Don’t write off hedonism just yet. Last year, when former Primrose Hill set member Liam Gallagher, 45, was asked if he still did drugs, he said, ‘I do. Not as much as I’d like to but when I get some downtime, I’m gonna go in hard.’ And order is restored.
