DON’T BABY US!

Congrats and kudos to Jacinda Ardern on her pregnancy and for planning to return to work as New Zealand’s PM six weeks after her baby is born. I couldn’t help thinking, though, that by 2018 we should be used to women in high-powered jobs being able to have a baby and still work. It’s a shame it’s still a newish notion. But times are changing, parents are sharing childcare and perhaps parental leave. No woman should be written off once she has a baby.
