Who are the next game-changers?
One hundred years ago this week marked a milestone in female history for British women – we won the right to vote. The suffrage movement that had seen women lose their lives in pursuit of emancipation and enfranchisement was victorious (although initially only for women over 30, who met specific property, work or educational criteria). And it’s been full-speed ahead since then. We’ve come so far in the past 10 decades, and continue to evolve at lightening rate as we hurtle towards exciting, extraordinary times with #Metoo and Time’s Up. It’s not easy, it’s not always fair, but we keep on fighting and we do seem to be winning. We can’t wait to meet the warriors of the next 100 years.
