MUM’S THE WORD

I couldn’t agree more with Vicki Psarias’ Womb with a view (20 Aug). After trying for several years to have children and finally being blessed with twins, I worried myself sick about nurseries and child minders and whether I was a good mother for also wanting a career. Thankfully, my mum stepped in and I had peace of mind leaving my babies with the person I trusted most. I’ve managed to balance my family with a successful career thanks to the love and support provided by both my parents. I’ll be eternally grateful to them for that, but also for the love and bond they’ve built with my children. Donna
