Care for a cry?

Care is a volatile sob story, bespoke for our times. As daughter Jenny (Sheridan Smith) relies on mother Mary (Alison Steadman) for the care of her two daughters, her world is about to collapse when illness gets in the way. Austerity Britain is painted in all its monochrome stripes by veteran screenwriter Jimmy Mcgovern, his cast obviously just brilliant.
