NOW JEN AND BRAD WORKING ARE TOGETHER – AGAIN

IT WAS JUST FIVE weeks ago that the unthinkable happened, and Brad Pitt was photographed arriving at Jennifer Aniston’s exclusive 50th birthday party at the Sunset Tower in Los Angeles.

The narrative went: Brad and Jen had reconciled, 14 years after their bitter divorce (and following a second divorce for both of them, from Angelina Jolie and Justin Theroux, respectively). But in fact, Brad’s appearance was merely the first public acknowledgement of a friendship that’s been slowly on the mend.

Now, Grazia has learned that, after finding their way back to a friendship, the former couple are in the process of exploring the possibilities of restoring a professional relationship, too. Following Jen’s party, the pair have had at least two meetings at the Sony Studios in Culver City in LA to discuss movie projects. A source witnessed the former couple arrive separately at the studios, where they stayed for three hours, prompting speculation they were there to brainstorm film options.

Brad founded his Plan B Entertainment production company with Jen during their five-year marriage, but she signed the company over to him when they split in 2005. ‘ They had a lot of things in the pipeline at the time of their divorce,’ explains the source. ‘Both of them were upset to put those projects to one side at the time. They’ve always been a great foil for each other professionally, and now they both see their long-term futures behind the camera as directors and executive producers. They’ve got a few things on the table and are at the brainstorming stage, but they’re keen to do something sooner rather than later.’

The professional pairing perhaps makes business sense, too. ‘Jen and Brad know that if they released a movie together, even just as exec producers, it would be an absolute sensation: they work really well together and hold huge influence in Hollywood,’ explains Grazia’s source.

Nothing is going to be rushed through, however, as Brad and Jen are still in the early stages of finding their feet as friends again. But, says the source, they are feeling much happier than they have in a long time.

‘Jen was always a big source of support for Brad when they were married and encouraged him to take on some of the more fun parts that he’s played,’ says the insider. ‘She brings out his more light-hearted side, like his cameo on Friends, , while he encouraged her to take on more challenging roles, like The Good Girl. . They really bring out the best in each other and make a great team – they’ve found that hasn’t changed over the years.’
