JENNIFER ANISTON BARED her soul last week – in a revealing new interview in which she claimed she is open to finding love following her divorce from Justin Theroux last year.

(‘I have zero time’), sources tell Grazia that she has been casually revisiting one old flame – a certain John ‘The Player’ Mayer. Jennifer enjoyed/endured an on-again, off-again romance with the 41-year-old musician between 2008 and 2009. Now sources claim that they have reconnected once again on a no-strings ‘just for fun’ basis. ‘They used to share such intense chemistry back when they were dating,’ says the source. ‘Jen has been happy to revisit it this time, because there are no overwhelming feelings in the way. It’s a super-discreet, casual arrangement and that works just fine for both of them.’
All seems to be forgiven after something of a roller-coaster romance. After their final split, John called her the ‘sweetest, kindest person’ in a 2010 interview with Playboy, but implied that he felt too young for her. ‘I’ll always be sorry that it didn’t last,’ he said. ‘In some ways, I wish I could be with her. But I can’t change the fact that I need to be 32.’
A decade may have passed but, according to sources, Jennifer has absolutely no intention of taking things long-term with John, who has also enjoyed high-profile romances with Cameron Diaz, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, this time around.
But the actor has often maintained friendships with the men in her life. She still sees Will Arnett, the actor and Amy Poehler’s ex, who she was briefly linked to last year following her break-up with Justin, and even more recently, ex-husband Brad Pitt, who made a surprise appearance at her star-studded birthday party in Los Angeles in February.
Sources claim that despite the drama around their 2005 divorce, the pair now ‘talk and text pretty regularly’ since Brad split from Angelina Jolie three years ago. But, despite relentless speculation, their relationship remains ‘purely platonic’.
Indeed, Brad himself dismissed all the hype of a reconciliation last week. When asked by photographers in LA if there was any truth he and his ex-wife had reunited, he laughed and answered, ‘Oh my God.’ Nevertheless, it seems clear that they can’t quite say goodbye.
