WE WEAR IT WELL

I enjoyed Style doesn’t have a sell-by date (13 May). When I was growing up, there were lots of trends that every girl had to have. For me it was hot pants, for others it was ponchos. These days, the item could be jeans. But should I really wear jeans after 52? Well, I do and my mother’s 89 and she can rock a pair of jeans. It’s great to dress in contemporary styles. We should embrace the time we live in. So in conclusion, Helena shouldn’t be age-shamed – nor should any other woman. As Helena so rightly points out – what a woman wears is her choice, her business and nobody else’s.
