THE HARDEST LOSS

In The Millennial’s guide to grief (14 Apr) it struck me that Martha Hayes did not include a friend who has lost a child. While Millennials may not have faced this scenario yet, once again, child loss was ignored. Is it because it’s the single worst grief endured by a person? Or that, as a society, we don’t know what advice to give or how to be around parents whose child has died? As a bereaved mum, I felt disappointed that once again child loss was pushed to the back of everyone’s mind.
