SHADES OF GREY

In response to Grey matter (1 June), I’ve had cancer twice in my life, and both times chemo made my hair fall out. The first time it grew back red/brown and curly; the second time it grew back white at first, with darker grey coming through, and curls that later grew out. Two years on, I’ve never dyed my hair again. I love the colour – grey and white, with a warm tone of auburn shot through it. I’ve just turned 50 and will never dye my hair again. I say embrace your grey!
